Monday, October 27th, 2008Pleased to meet you. My name is OLIVE.
SSSSSSSH! Baby sleeping!
I have FINALLY learned to stop asking permission!
My daughter Lucy fell in love with this little girl and HAD to have her. We did get her from a local rescue organization. :)My husband, who did NOT want another dog, did not know what we were doing. We did not call and ask permission…we just went with our heart and realized this little girl belonged with us. Needless to say he was a surprised!!! But it only took him about 15 minutes to fall in love with her.
Maria needs your help!

My son has Type 1 Diabetes.
He was diagnosed when he was just three years old. For the last 10 years Hayden has dealt with multiple finger pokes to check his blood glucose, three daily insulin injections, and a strict meal time schedule.
This is the fourth year that my family and I have partcipated in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes.
The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes at Tempe Town Lake is the largest in the country.
I encourage you to put together your own walk team and support a wonderful cause. If you visit www.jdrf.org you can get more information.
I am also looking for donations!!!
If you click on the link below it will take you to my donation page.
THANK YOU for your help and support. It mean more to me than you will ever know.

Friday “On a Stick Day!”
Friday, October 24th, 2008Oh Christmas tree!
Monday, October 20th, 2008NEW IN 2008: There are no more drawings or online applications for Christmas tree-cutting tags. You have to go to a designated store to purchase a tag. When they run out, they run out. Tag prices are now $15 each.
Here is what you need to know:
- In order to harvest that perfect Christmas tree, you must obtain a tag (permit).
- Companies, organizations or schools may not apply.
- Permits are issued for harvesting one tree under 10 feet tall, per family, per year.
- Only individuals/families may purchase a tag and the tree must be used in their household.
- Trees may be harvested during the period between November 22nd and December 24th.
- Along with your tag, you will receive a map showing your tag’s cutting area, tree-cutting instructions, safety precaution reminders and a tree identification fact sheet.
- There is no way to replace your tag if you lose it.
You can pick up a Christmas tree-cutting tag at one of these Big 5 Sporting Goods store locations. Tags sales will begin on Friday, October 10, 2008:

Which Superhero are YOU?
Monday, October 20th, 2008Maria was right! I found a Bigfoot too!!!!!!
Tuesday, October 14th, 2008I Found Big Foot’s feet too!

Maria was so convinced that Bigfoot exists, that she posted pictures of what was supposedly an actual Bigfoot stuffed into a freezer. Unfortunately, scientists released their DNA findings over the weekend and said that Maria’s Bigfoot was no Bigfoot. One test came back inconclusive, one came back as being human, and the third was that of an Opossum. I gave her a lot of undue grief at the time because she really believed it. Well, I take back everything I said. After finding a Bigfoot myself, I apologize. Here’s the proof. I put him into this container, but I think you can clearly see that THIS IS A BIGFOOT!!!!! Seeing is believing.
