Tom Peake

Tom started his “Disc Jockey” life in Wilmington Ohio, a little Midwest town northeast of Cincinnati and yes; he did love the show WKRP (back in the day when we actually played records in radio stations)! After a couple of years, and far too many winters, Tom moved to Phoenix, Arizona looking for fame and fortune. He didn’t find either one, but he did land a gig at the ‘Koolest” radio station in the country…94.5 KOOL-FM! Almost 30 years later Tom Peake is waking up with the valley weekday mornings!

Tom and Maria are now the KOOL Morning Crew each weekday morning from 5am-9am. Wake up with them and you’re sure to have a great start of your day.

Maria Knight

Maria Knight is another transplant from the Midwest. She moved to the valley 12 years ago. Thank goodness no more shoveling snow! Maria loves the outdoors…hiking, rock climbing, and the nightly dog walks. She has two dogs; Mona and Olive.  She is married and has two kids; Hayden, who’s thirteen and Lucy, who will be ten around Thanksgiving. And Maria loves her sports. She is a big Green Bay Packer fan. She has to be…there has been a Packer football pool in her family for generations…no kidding.

The only way to get one of the ten slots in the pool is to be WILLED the spot. By her calculations, Maria will have her spot when she’s about 75…no kidding.
